Student Immersions Fiji
The Island Classroom is a specialist student immersion program advisor based on Taveuni Island, Fiji, offering multi‑day, place‑based student immersion programs for schools. Programs focus on oceanic learning, environmental science, climate adaptation, biodiversity, aquaculture, cultural immersion, and school–community connection. Visiting students participate in guided, contextual learning shaped by Fiji’s ecosystems, coastal environments, and cultural knowledge.
Immersions are designed to support curriculum outcomes in geography, science, sustainability, wellbeing, social justice, and global citizenship. Programs are delivered in partnership with local communities and emphasise environmental stewardship, cultural respect, and hands‑on learning in real ecosystems.
